Identity for Casa Vogue magazine’s project that travels around different regions of the country in search of the most valuable cultural expressions that influence Brazilian design.
The rich handicraft and natural landscapes of the travel route worked as an inspiration for the design of an authentic, elegant, and Brazil-filled brand identity, which sums up the roots and practices that distinguish each region.
A stamp was created, by associating the Casa Vogue logo with a box reminiscent of the magazine’s proportions. The tagline was designed in handwriting in order to reach a casual look, befitting the artisanal production explored by the caravan.
Common elements in the traveled landscapes, such as vegetation, architecture, and the river itself inspired manually illustrated shapes. The brush stroke produces a dry dust-like result, with clear manual traces. The color palette ranges from the roads’ earthy tones to the skies’ and sea’s infinite blue, through the arid vegetation of the northern part of Minas Gerais state, and Belmonte’s big houses.
