Brand identity for a film exhibition project on the banks of the São Francisco River.
From 2007 to 2012, Hardy was responsible for the many designs of Cinema no Rio’s brand identity. The project, created by Inácio Neves, travels the São Francisco River, offering free outdoor film screenings in riverside cities. The initiative’s goal is to provide cinema access for people that, often, have never seen a movie on a big screen.
In order to value local culture and strengthen the audience’s connection to the project, the identity’s design came from regional references. São Francisco River’s fishes became unusual characters, once mixed with cinematic elements.
This project does not have a creative datasheet yet.
