Project made with the support of Culture Tax Incentives.
Editorial design for Tavinho Moura’s book on Pampulha region birds.
The project consists of 150 photographs of Pampulha Lagoon-based birds. Throughout the book, different texts by Tavinho and other authors explore birdlife themes. The publication has a rich chromatic palette, created from the colors of the birds’ plumage.
The book has a dust jacket covered with a watercolor art of the pond, created by artist Sandra Bianchi. The folding only highlights the water texture and, once opened, the dust jacket becomes a large poster of the Pampulha Lagoon.
