Editorial design for Fernanda Takai’s album “Será que você vai acreditar?”

The editorial design created for Fernanda Takai’s album “Será que você vai acreditar?” sought to highlight the surrealist, ironic, and humorous aspect of the image conceived by artist Renato Larini for the album cover.

Based on the art created by Larini, we invested in the language of collage, explored in the artist’s works, and in an aesthetic of book and file tags, linking it to the idea of collecting and cataloging images. Another inspiration was old-school editorial design, which combines a nostalgic and vintage atmosphere with a contemporary aesthetic.

The booklet and the digipack explore a visual narrative coherent with the concept proposed for the album cover. Larini’s material was the starting point for the development of a color palette that runs through the whole album, contributing to the graphic harmony of the project.

The booklet also features an editorial strategy that correlates lyrics, illustrations, and colors, in addition to including a new sans serif typography in the identity.
